Positions available:  

 

Dental Director (Full-time).

Responsible for the overall delivery of dental services at the Center. Provides leadership in the development of the Center’s dental care plan based on health needs, epidemiology, and health behaviors of the community. Presents reports on the dental health and dental quality assurance matters to the Center’s Performance Improvement and Risk Management Program. Supervises dental personnel, recruits dentists, dental hygienists and other support dental staff. Interviews all potential dental employees. Collaborates with academic-based dental programs to expand resources available to the Center’s dental clinic operations. Qualifications: The Dental Director should be a dentist who is either licensed to practice in the State, a commissioned officer with the US Public Health Services or an NHSC assignee. One to three years of experience in general dentistry is preferable.  Previous experience and/or post-graduate training in a dental specialty are desirable. Experience as a Dental Director (or equivalent) in an FQHC or health system preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Possesses high moral character and practices dentistry by standards set by the dental profession.

 

Human Resources Director (Full-time).

Develops and coordinates a Personnel Management program conducive to the needs of BCHC. Implements, coordinates, and administers policies relating to all phases of the Center’s personnel activities. Develops the techniques and directs activities of recruitment, placement, orientation, and training. Establishes employment policies and
confers with department heads and supervisors to improve working relationships and conditions. Recommends changes in policies, procedures, and benefits for retention of staff. Administers benefits and other employer-employee programs. Acts as liaison between employees and administrative staff. Investigates causes of dispute and recommends corrective action. Review policies to comply with personnel law and any other applicable regulation. Qualifications: Associates Degree in Business Administration, plus four years of experience in Human Resources with progressive role/responsibility.  BBA Degree in Management or Human Resources or related field strongly preferred.   Three to five years progressive experience in personnel management. Formal Education may be substituted by years of experience.  Each year of education may be substituted for two years of experience. Experience in supervisory role strongly preferred. Experience in public speaking and presenting before groups.
Bilingual (English/Spanish). Proven expertise in solving problems. Budget Management Experience Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
